Meanwhile, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts also demonstrated a strong willingness to coach the U.S. team at the Olympics, confidently saying, "I believe there is no one more qualified than me."

Betts withdrew from this year's World Baseball Classic due to family reasons, emphasizing that he prioritizes his family. He explained that his withdrawal was because his wife's due date conflicted with the event. "If the baby hadn’t been due then, I probably would have participated. But the birth of a child is always a blessing."
