In anticipation of broadening its MLB broadcast for the 2026 season, NBC Sports has bolstered its analyst lineup with three well-known personalities.
On February 9, NBC Sports officially announced that recently retired stars Clayton Kershaw, Anthony Rizzo, and Joey Votto will join forces to bring their combined decades of major league experience to the network’s preseason analysis shows throughout the 2026 season.
The trio will appear together on select preseason programs, including the regular season’s Sunday Night Baseball and all of NBC’s exclusive broadcasts of the 2026 postseason Wild Card games.
Votto retired in August 2024 after spending his entire 17-year major league career with the Cincinnati Reds, finishing within the Toronto Blue Jays organization. Rizzo, who won a World Series with the Chicago Cubs in 2016, played his final game in Game 5 of the 2024 World Series with the New York Yankees and retired last September. Kershaw will represent Team USA in the upcoming 2026 World Baseball Classic and retired following the 2025 season after winning his third championship as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
