When asked by a young player "Who is stronger, you or Shohei Ohtani?" the Yankees' "Powerhouse" gave a clever reply.

Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers has amazed countless baseball fans globally with his dual-role achievements in recent years. Recently, Giancarlo Stanton, the New York Yankees' "Powerhouse," was questioned by a young player at a baseball event in Colombia about who was stronger between him and Ohtani, and his answer was quite witty.

Stanton attended a baseball promotion event jointly organized by MLB and USA Baseball. His visit to Colombia aimed to spark young players' interest in baseball through hands-on activities.

MLB’s official social media account shared a video of the event yesterday. In the footage, Stanton mingled warmly with the young players, who expressed their admiration for him by saying things like, "You are my hero," and "You are a great player."

Unexpectedly, a young player innocently asked, "Who is stronger, you or Ohtani?" Stanton cleverly replied, "I don’t pitch, so the answer is pretty clear."

Throughout his career, Stanton has played in 1,726 games, hitting 453 home runs and 1,619 hits, with 1,169 RBIs, a batting average of .258, and a slugging percentage of .874. He has been selected for the All-Star game five times, won two Silver Slugger awards, and was named the National League MVP in 2017. In recent years, due to injuries, he has primarily served as a designated hitter.
