The Baltimore Orioles and Atlanta Warriors pulled out of the deal before Jeff Hoffman finalized a $33 million three-year contract with the Toronto Blue Jays last week due to concerns about the health of the relay pitcher's pitching shoulder.
"What they see on the MRI, whatever they see, is what their team doctor says." Speaking on Bluejay's introductory video conference on Wednesday, Jeff Hoffman said, "It doesn't match my feelings at all, though, so it's not something I really care about or worry about."
Jeff Hoffman, a right-handed shooter who turns 32 on Jan. 8, conducted an on-site medical for the Orioles and Warriors signings.
"All the flags, all the physical objects, were a huge surprise to me and everyone else." "If you can check my record over the last few seasons and I'm as healthy as everybody else, it's not a problem for me, it's just something they want to bring up and the Blue Jays see who I really am, so I'd rather stay in that place."
